Below is the pattern I used although I have altered it a tad and added a tad.
Since I've written this out and thinking about it I'm sure you could make the Hexagons smaller or larger by altering the basic pattern on just how many stitches you knit between the casting off of the two stitches... understand? (Slip 1, K2T, PSSO)

I stitched the Hexagons together using a contrasting wool but there are so many different patterns out there for knitting they together and double sided hexagons and so on... Good Luck, have fun and bring your work along to the Pub next month... okay!!
K - Knit. K2T - Knit 2 together. Slip 1 - Slip stitch. PSSO - Pass slip stitch over.
