We had 'Sisters' at the Pub today, Shirley flew up from Melbourne to join her sister Jean for a few days before the SCQuilters Retreat in Bathurst.

We all decided to be 'sisters' today... here is Shirley and her 'sister' Rosemary, just in time for Lunch.
Glynis and her 'sister' Heather.

Irene L. with her 'sister' Jean.

Cath with her 'sister' Bec.

Dianne with her 'sister' Lyn H.

Loz with her 'sister' Linda.

Lyn W. with her 'sister' Di.

... and Irene B. with her 'sister' Pennie... aka ME.

Just in case you missed Heather's jacket... Heather likes warm and bright colours for Winter :-)
Bec made this wonderful scarf, not only is it gorgeous it is so easy to make... I reckon we all wanted to make it in fact... but wait...
... on the other side of the room Loz had almost finished the exact same scarf... different wool but same pattern!

Heather has finished the circles for her beautiful quilt, now for the borders.

Di is doing circles of a different kind but looking just as smashing...

Glynis is going around in Circles as well... Wow these are spectacular aren't they.

You should have heard the exclamations when Cath showed us her fabric... there were gasps of horror, gasps of shock and gasps of WOW! But who would buy this fabric was the big question LOL

Then Cath showed us her blocks.... Wow! Wow! Wow! Double WOW!!!

Linda was visiting from the USA, here she is with her hexies.

Linda's bag was a big hit, not only the outside but inside there are pockets, zips and lots of room.

Cath has finished this little pink quilt for a friends baby.
Glynis, hiding behind her basket quilt.
Heathers next project is under way.

Cath's Bear Quilt is all finished.

Irene B's next lot of stars coming along nicely.

Robyn's blocks are coming together now.

Lyn's Hexies.

Cath bought along her friend Jackie who showed us her beautiful Redwork Quilt.

Secret SCQuilters Retreat sewing in progress... I daren't tell you who is it or what it is but we all just loved it!
I didn't have any new Show and Tell this time so I show my creation below...

... after a day spent in the Pub I had to make this little beauty for a lovely grandson who turned 4 this week celebrating with a Pirate Party on Sunday.
