First time at a SCQuilting gathering for me this year, we were at the Blue Gum Pub last Saturday, a small group which was absolutely delightful because we could all enjoy a good chat and appreciate what each of us was up to...

What were we making...
This is the 10th time I've knitted this Aran pattern for one of our family and I do so love it when one of the grandchildren request a jumper, 16yo Tilly asked for one and she chose the colour which is so different to most of the beige jumpers I've knitted... the first one I knitted was back in 1967.
Irene was knitting a scarf for a charity using two strands of wool which feels so soft and comfortable and I do love these colours.
Rita's handwork is going to be stunning, I saw the pattern.
Cath is doing Hexagons as well, these are very popular aren't they.

I didn't bring my Show in, it's already flown to London to be with our almost 13yo Grandson George.
I noticed while he was here in Aus that the back of his quilt was more loved than the top... half UK, half Aus. This is the only quilt I've made this year
I spent most of the four weeks my Macao now London family were here trying to repair these two quilts that I'd given to Abi (above) and Tilly (below) for their 13th birthdays. The quilts had been put through a tough wash and through a dryer by their helper in Macao... so sad, the quilt above I started in 2014 and the quilt below was started by David's grandmother in San Francisco in the 1920's and finished by myself.
I asked our SCQuilter friends for some photos of what they've been up to this past year and Wow! Some wonderful works of love that's for sure.

I'm glad your group is meeting again, and I completely understand about a smaller number of people being more conducive to chatting and getting caught up with one another. Love seeing the food pictures, and remembering the good meals served there, as well as my very first Lemon-lime and Bitters. As always, EPP and knitting are very prevalent amongst your makers. Lots of talent! Thanks for sharing, and reminding me of the lovely visits I had with Sydney SCQuilters.
