A dozen SCQuilters ventured out of their homes, into the 42c heat in Sydney... to gather at the Blue Gum Pub today, enjoying a good chat, laugh and lunch in the Air conditioned comfort! Always a great day!

 Liz was busy sewing...

 Lyn A. was busy sewing...

 Sue was busy sewing...

 Irene was busy sewing...

 Penny was busy stitching...

Joy was busy sewing...
 Heather was busy sewing...

 Lyn was busy sewing...

 Becky was busy sewing...

 Marilyn was busy sewing...

Even Pennie was busy sewing...  but...

Jill just came for lunch and to enjoy a bit of a laugh and a good chat...   Nothing wrong with that, I've been known to do the same  on occasion :-)

Show and Tell of all sorts....

Sue's absolutely spectacular quilt top, it even got a clap from one of the patrons of the Pub sitting on another table.

Heathers Show and Tell was the best though, we all love a baby so when Heather's daughter Belinda surprised us with little Samuel it was oooohhhhsss and aaaahhhhssss all around the room.

Oh!  and Heather had a Quilt to show as well... one for Samuel when he's a bit older.

 Fabulous back to Samuel's quilt.

The two boys at the next table took a shine to this quilt so Heather had to do a special Show just for them :-)
Marilyn says she made this quilt for her DH, for her DH's bed in fact...  a bed which she shares!

Marilyn's version of Bonnie K Hunters latest Mystery Quilt... Roll, Roll Cotton Boll.  Slightly smaller than Bonnie's version and with a different border.... a beauty just the same.

Penny's framed cross stitch, beautiful topic, beautifully made and beautifully framed.

Penny's Sampler cushion... pretty good for her first foray into stitchery is it!
Irene's Ku-ring-gai Challenge Quilt... she had to make a quilt using the fabric in the larger squares in the border... if you would like to see more of these challenge quilts you can check my personal blog.
Scroll to 23rd of  January.
Irene lost the binding for this quilt ages ago, but after a big clean up in her sewing room it reappeared and was added today.
Here is another block to add to Liz's collection, she's not quite sure what size this quilt will be, I can't wait to see some of the blocks together... maybe next month eh Liz?
Here is Joy with her fantastic piece of handwork!
