Lots of inspiring Handwork.

Lovely soft socks just finished off by Becky.

Interesting Hexagon blocks being made by Glynis.

Absolutely beautiful delicate shawl being made by Joanne.

Love this little yarn holder, I wonder if they have them with a Babushka on it  :-)  Only joking... please don't.

Above is what Cherie and Kate are each making and below... with these tools.

 Emma finishing off a border.

Loving watching the progress of Heather's blocks, so my childhood!

I love this new little beauty being made by Liz.

Lots and lots of these interesting shapes being made by Lynne, she's making a bag I believe!  Wow!

I was very brave and bought along my Aran knitting...  33 stitches times three in each row with 32 rows in the pattern!  not something one should be working on while moving around and chatting to lots of people under a drug induced state... but wonder of all wonders I didn't make a mistake!  It is the fourth time I've knitted this pattern over the last 50 years.

Show and Tell, Show and Tell, Show and Tell, Show and Tell and More Show and Tell.

So pretty and so practical, especially if you have a cat that likes to put it's paw into the milk jug.  Beautifully made Milk Jug Cover/Doily by Becky.

I think Cath made this stunner but please if I am wrong let me know, my drugged brain wasn't at it's best yesterday.

Just check out Cherie's bag, hasn't she done a brilliant job.  I think I need to make one :-)

I love this one but cannot remember who is standing behind it!  I must remember to get a second photo of each quilt with their maker next time!

Glynis made this stunner starting with a tea towel bought in Paris.  The Red and Black blocks were started for one of our challenges a couple of years ago.  Wonderful Glynis.

Just check out this beauty made by Jill, I love these blocks as did many of the rest of us and it was funny watching some of them pointing out upside down blocks... there aren't any upside down blocks, they're all in their correct position!

Rita has made this quilt for a neighbour's 18 year old daughter using all this girls favourite colours.

Another little beauty made by Rita.

This beautiful quilt below is going to be a secret until next month!  So you will have to hang on till then to see the spectacular top.

Love, love, just love Joanne's very versatile wrist warmers.  How delicate are the frills eh :-)

Food Glorious Food.

Irene often brings Morning Tea for us to share, this was a most delicious Lemon Curd Slice... Yummy Yum!

Well that was delicious wasn't it! Not a scrap left :-)
 Chippies are always delicious!
 Steak Sandwich.
 Almost gone Chicken Pie.
Delicious Lamb Kebabs with Aubergine Dip... I can vouch for this dish, it was very yummy.
Just started Chicken Pie, I must try this one day it always looks so inviting.

11 May 2016

This was the second month in a row that I couldn't make it to the Blue Gum Pub for our regular get together but have no fear Becky had her camera with her and has done a beaut job for us.

I did book the room for rather more than were able to turn up... pity about the spelling of my name  :-)

Just look at this beautiful delicate work, I wonder who this is for?

I'm pretty sure these blocks were being put together by my friend Lissapoo!

Now who can have been sewing this beautiful 'star', 16 segments, that's a lot.

Omigollygosh, this is a different block, looking forward to seeing more of this one.

Oh Wow!  how beautiful is this, a vest it looks like, I hope the maker wears it to the pub next month.

Oh so pretty, I've always loved this sort of applique and I'm guessing it's Robyn?

Wow!  What's going on with this one?   looks very very interesting.

Aaahhh... I think I know who's work this is... Jill??

I haven't seen this beaut hexie at the Pub before, it must be new, looks very pretty I hope you bring it next month... please :-)

Aaaahh... some of my very favourite people  :-)  so sorry I missed you all :-(

Heather?  I want to see more please :-)

Some more of my very favourite people  :-) Sorry I missed you as well.

LOL!  Now who is this I wonder?  Penny Smith?   just guessing.

Oh wow, this is looking terrific... I wonder who?

Now the detective in me thinks this is Cath's work,  am I correct?

Another interesting and fun quilt, I hope I see it next month please.
