Completed two (2) colourful quilts to donate for children in the 'Hope in a Suitcase' project.

Rita's third quilt was for the husband of a friend and made from some of her friend's dresses.

Next get together will be Saturday 6 June at the Blue Gum!

Nasty day in Sydney but we had an animated day with 5 of us and plenty of show and tell.

First a quick catch up on Selina's ongoing hand pieced glorious project.

Next Selina has completed 3 tops as gifts. All with the same fabrics and based on the same quilt design but all a little different. One (1) for each of  her sisters and another as a gift for friends in Canada. The designs are based on the Communique Quilt design from Mouse in My Pocket

Today we have three (3) of Rita's projects for 'Hope in a Suitcase' which is an organisation providing suitcases of new essential items for children entering foster care.

Rita donates her time and skills to several organisations. Well done Rita.
