We usually get a big roll up in January and 2008 is no different, 27 of us turned up today and those newbies had no trouble finding us... they just followed the laughter. For a lot of us it was the first time sewing has been done this year and there was little 'Show and Tell' but scroll down, there are a few beauties at the end of this first post for 2008.
It was Michelle's idea... there is a group of us playing a game called Scatterdays, each week we are given a letter and three categories to take photos of to put on our Blogs. Next weeks letter is 'E' and the Categories are - White, Plant World and Something Terrifying... well Michelle thought Erica could put on a Terrifying face but she's failed us here! She could fit the White category though couldn't she LOL.
Wendy told me she never takes a good photo... maybe she should try opening her eyes??
Erica has been sewing this handwork quilt for quite a long time, we've watched it grow and grow... only one more border to put on then she'll have to think of some other hand work!
This is a Charity Quilt made by Heather, the blocks were made by her group.
