Show and Tell... Wow! Wow! and Double Wow!
Claire bought along little Josephine, just 5 weeks old and such a darling, you don't have to worry, I got a good cuddle... of Josephine that is :-)
Wow! Selina remembered half way through this quilt... she doesn't really enjoy sewing triangles :-)
Beautiful shawl made and worn by Annie... and check out her clasp, made from an old spoon.
How clever and beautiful is this, with a Water Dragon as well. Annie didn't make the spoon clasp, she bought it.
Annie also had a baby blanket to show.
Jenn has done wonders with this 'Wow' quilt, not only the design but check out the quilting, some hand and some machine, how clever is she eh!
I love, love, love Erica's 'Lucy Boston' quilt. Wow!
Lissa was thrilled to get her beautiful quilt back after Emma had quilted it for her... just check out that fabulous quilting as well... and check out that cheeky happy face peeking around the side of her quilt.
Jill was binding this charity quilt made by an elderly lady from her Patchwork Group. Lovely isn't it.
Cath always has something new and interesting for our Show and Tell.
Rita has made several of these very handy 'dilly bags'.
Rita's DD loves Ladybugs... she's going to love this quilt for sure.
And one Ladybug on the back.
Rita was asking advice on what to do with these two made many years ago by her MIL. I think she got some good advice from very well informed SCQuilters.

Wet, Wet, Wet and more rain all over Sydney and beyond today. But several people braved those roads to come to the Pub... from Newcastle to Caringbah, from the lower Blue Mountains to the Northern Beaches... and many many places in between, they came and enjoyed another lovely day at the Pub!
Feeling a bit 'photo' lazy today so I didn't take heaps of photos, none of handwork, none of food and just tables full of clever Quilters, you must know the names of these lovely people by now so I'll continue to be lazy and not tell you :-)
Okay you are excused for one... Welcome to Linda second from the right.
More clever quilters.
And yet more...
Oh! It looks like I wasn't there :-) and I did miss a couple of early leavers as well.
As my two year old grandson says, with a very big sigh... 'Fun Day'

Knitted Hexagons... several requests were made yesterday for the pattern of my lovely Hexies!
I found the pattern I've used online a couple of weeks ago, but for the life of me I can't find it again... there are so many many many patterns for knitting or crocheting hexagons out there though so have a look.
Below is the pattern I used although I have altered it a tad and added a tad.
Since I've written this out and thinking about it I'm sure you could make the Hexagons smaller or larger by altering the basic pattern on just how many stitches you knit between the casting off of the two stitches... understand? (Slip 1, K2T, PSSO)
K - Knit. K2T - Knit 2 together. Slip 1 - Slip stitch. PSSO - Pass slip stitch over.

I stitched the Hexagons together using a contrasting wool but there are so many different patterns out there for knitting they together and double sided hexagons and so on... Good Luck, have fun and bring your work along to the Pub next month... okay!!

Show, Show, Show and Tell Time!
There's no stopping that Marianne, here is another one of Bonnie K Hunter's 'Smith Mountain Morning' quilts, she had a beautiful one for show last month... check it out.
This one is for her DD who is now in Europe playing the game she loves.
The back, Marianne tells us that this is another quilt using only her stash but she still can't notice a difference... Mmmm! I'm a bit like that as well.
Another block of Rita's Mario Bros quilt. We can't wait to see this one together.
A very fishy quilt and back :-)
Rita's DD loves Purple, so she'll love this quilt.
What a fun Hexagon quilt of Stephanie's, I love the backing she's used.
Brenda's 'One Hour Bag', isn't it smart! and do you know how long it took to make? :-)
I love Jackie's 'Playing Around' quilt, she's just playing around and getting used to her machine... some playing around! It's brilliant!
I love these colours, Jill uses the best fabrics, fabrics that I just don't have in my stash and as I've been on a mission for the past ?*&% years, of only using fabrics from my stash, I'm green with jealously!
Wow! Nice and bright from Emma, and two little bright blocks below. Lovely!
What beautiful Poopy fabric, I love it... Annie made this lovely and very handy bag.
Lissa isn't telling us just how many balls of Noro she used to make this rug, it doesn't matter, it's so well worth it! Beautiful Lissa.
When someone tries to slip out of the Pub with this folded up in their bag, then when questioned about it... says... it's just my car quilt! You have to question that person very closely to make sure they aren't hiding any other wonderful masterpieces! I love this raggy and of all the quilts at the Pub this month... this is the one I would have stolen, if I was quicker and knew it was under the table!
I've fallen in love Lissa!
Michelle finished off this masterpiece yesterday, she had to stop talking a few times to make sure she was following the pattern properly though. Look at the size of it!
Back view and front view! Just beautiful.
