04 October 2014

I'm starting with the 'Food Glorious Food' today because we have World Shattering News....

Lissapoo...  enjoyed a Chicken Burger today!!!!!!!   I know, I know, I knoooowww!   If you know Lissapoo as I do and have enjoyed many meals with her as I have... This is indeed World Breaking!  I have only ever seen Lissa order a Steak Sandwich!    What next I wonder  :-)

Maybe next month Lissa might branch out and enjoy something really daring such as...  Chicken Sliders!

There is plenty of choice at the Pub, all these meals were very much enjoyed!

All the beautiful people were at the Pub today, 27 of us and I only missed taking the photo of one late arriver.

 Ruth and Marilyn.

 Kate and Munaiba.

 Janette and Heather.

 Selina and Jen.

 Lissa and Michelle.

 Gillian and Liz.

 Jill and Lynne.

 Maureen and Sharon.

 Annie and Lyn.

 Marilyn, Kerry and Stephanie.

 Joy, Glynis and Robyn.

Pennie and Rita.

So many of my SCQuilter friends are making something I REALLY want to make, there is always such a choice of fabrics and wools and patterns... I just don't know where to start!

Gillian busy cutting up scraps into Hexagons.

Glynis was just sitting for a while  :-)

Heather working on Ice Skaters this month.

 The Happy Hookers Corner!

 Jeanette's work looks interesting...

Hey!  Check out Jen's stitching down of her binding, what a brilliant idea!

Jill is doing great on her hexagon quilt.

 Joy's lovely bright Applique.

Kate was all ready to sew... and guess what!! She did, she made one star.

Kerry's dog is looking very funky!  Is that a fish on the right?

Lissa go lots basted today, well done you...

Coming along nicely isn't it, you can see Liz's work growing month after month.

Lyn is ready to sew but I missed the actual sewing bit... next month okay.

Lynne is just finishing the binding on this little quilt that you will see in the Show and Tell.

 Wow!  Maureen, just Wow!

Guess what?  Michelle has started something new :-)

This is fascinating, I'm looking forward to seeing the end result of this work of Munaiba's.

I'm knitting away at my left over wools from my Mick Aston cardigan, I don't know what this will end up as, probably a Vest, I don't think I have enough wool left for sleeves.

Another piece of Robyn's bright and colourful quilt.

Selina was well prepared, she bought a big box full of scraps to cut up.

Just beautiful isn't it.  Sharon really enjoyed making this, she's not sure where she's going with it now, we'll just have to wait and see won't we.

Time for Show and Tell everyone...

 Stephanie has finished her shawl.

Ruth made this just for meeeeee..... but why did she take it home??

Ruth bought in a beautiful young model for her scarfs, meet Heather!

Hey!  I think that's my one??

 Beautiful aren't they... thanks Heather!

Rita has made this for her father's 90th birthday.

Another of Rita's blocks... I've forgotten what these are called... not minecraft is it?   Some lovely person will tell me.

 Lady birds of Rita's.

Another of Rita's quilts for an Aussie Soldier.

 Michelle with her latest shawl...

She had three with her today...

This is a close up of the one she is wearing.

This is one for me... I love it, I want it!!  I even neeeeeed it!   :-)

Actually I like this one as well...  of course I like them all, I will have to get serious and make one for myself!

Marilyn has used up some of her left over blocks from Bonnie K Hunter's Roll Roll Cotton Boll Mystery Quilt.

Lynne has turned her lovely little bird into a cushion.

And this is the little quilt Lynne was binding, it's a washing machine cover for her DD because DD's DH tends to put rough dirty things on top of the machine... so this little quilt will protect the top of the it now.

 Pretty little teapot by Liz.

Lovely bright and bold circles for something Kate is making...  :-)

 Another beauty of Joy's

This Happy Hooker got all nine blocks together.

Cath's quilt for her own bed.

A child's quilt by Cath, and the back...

 Another from Cath.

And yet another beauty from Cath.

Phew.... that is another lot of beautiful Show and Tell... I hope I got them all right!
